Good morning world from Sparky

4:30 a.m. Sparky: “I have to go out.”
Me: “It’s the middle of the night.”
Sparky: “No, really, I have to go out.”
Me: “Okay but make it quick. 15 minutes later, I switch on the coffee, and turn on the computer. He hasn’t come back yet. Apparently I should have said rapido.
4:45 a.m. Sparky: “I’m back. Are we going out for a golf cart ride now?”
Me: “No, it’s still dark.”
5:30 a.m. Sparky: “Are we going out now?”
Me: “No, it’s still dark.”
6:30 a.m. Sparky: “Are we going out now?”
Me: “No, it;s still dark.”
Sparky, but if we go now we can see the sunrise at Punta Sur.
6:45 a.m. Me: “Get in the golf cart!”
The only other people awake are those who are just returning home from a Saturday night party, and the popsicle salesmen who push the heavy Tuggi Palletas carts from near the middle-school / grocery store area into Centro and back everyday. But, we are in the golf cart driving to the southern end of the island.
It’s still dark – the sun doesn’t actually rise until closer to 7:30 a.m.
